2001
       TVHA was founded

2003
          New furnace for Homestead Elementary provided by Randolph County Schools

2004
           "Buy a Block" campaign launched to replace glass blocks in walls at Homestead Elementary
            New Fire Alarm System installed at Homestead Elementary provided by Budget Digest and The Snowshoe Foundation
Tygart  Valley Homesteads and Homestead Elementary School was admitted to  the National Register of Historic Places

2005
Budget Digest grant received for new fire-code doors
Awarded Federal Highway grant for a .4 mile recreation walking trail

2006
North end of Homestead School glass blocks and doors completed

2007
Walking trail completed
Contributed toward a scoreboard that was erected on Homestead Elementary's campus for Tygart Valley Youth Football 

2008
Fire-code doors installed at Homestead Elementary

2009
Refinished original maple floor in Kindergarten room at Homestead Elementary
70th Anniversary celebration and school reunion 

2010
Rescue Ventilation windows installed at Homestead Elementary's first floor
Mobile laptop carts received for Homestead Elementary

2012
Short throw projector purchased for Homestead Elementary

2014
TVHA Facebook page created

2015
Class pictures restored
75th Anniversary Celebration

2016
Homestead Elementary was added to the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia's Endangered Properties List
TVHA Website created

2017
The TVHA was awarded a grant from the West Virginia Preservation Alliance to repair the cafeteria roof at Homestead.

2018
The Tygart Valley Homestead Association took ownership of Homestead School.
